Vivre la Cheongsam
華麗變奏
The month of May features an associated project of
Le French May at Lee Garden One – Vivre la Cheongsam exhibition; jointly organized by Hysan Development Co. Ltd. and the artist (Helen Pun). Few mannequins dressed up in French-inspired cheongsams are on display to showcase the crossover between the cultural heritage of Chinese cheongsam and the deep and influential history of France. This is also a charitable event whereby sales proceeds of scarves designed by the artist will all be donated to ADAHK (Art for the Disabled Association Hong Kong).
“華麗變奏” 是法國五月節其下之聯辦節目。是次展覽為希慎興業有限公司和藝術創作人(潘靜怡)合辦。“華麗變奏”是受法國文化特色而啟發創作出的旗袍設計。 當兩種文化融合一起時，藝術作品試圖將這些獨特及富影響力的法國藝術融入於旗袍的微妙和迷人的優雅中。這次展覽也是作慈善用途，有兩款特別設計的頸巾作公開發售，全部收益將不扣除成本全數捐贈給香港展能藝術會。
